New Jersey Songwriter/Producer LilC4 Releases Hot New Single and Gets Ready to Kickoff Summer

19-year-old artist LilC4 prepares to kick-off his summer with performances that will feature his new single.

New Jersey (May 5, 2016) – Lil C4 is a 19-year-old producer, DJ, artist, and dancer. From the age of 13, C4 began to choreograph. As he progressed into a DJ, he polished his skills at the boys and girls club of Newark’s DJ program under world renowned DJ LazyK. C4 then began to DJ at events such as sweet 16s and proms. By the age of 17, he was hosting his own parties across the east coast. With over 100,000 plays on his remixes and thousands of views on his dance videos, he was discovered by his mentor Donald Richardson, a member of the first R&B group ever signed to Def Jam Records. Richardson presented the idea of bringing all of his talents to the mainstream. After signing to Starmaker Music Group alongside Co CEO Kijana Brown, the idea to develop a new sound was birthed. Under the direction of Starmaker’s Emmy nominated artist/producer Sinical, the first single, “Language,” was produced. 

In C4's "Language,” he adds a spin to Jersey’s, now, traditional take on club music. With the recent buzz about the popular dance culture in New Jersey, C4’s single puts you in the mood to "Sexy Walk" or even "Fist Pump." With this record, he displays the constant evolution of hip hop. The single has received over 70,000 plays in a month’s time on Soundcloud. It features the soulful, smooth sounds of Starmaker singer Melo V. Following the release of “Language,” C4 will be kicking off his summer with a performance at the Shade 34th Annual Spring Fashion Show. The show will take place Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 303 University Avenue Newark, NJ at 7:30 pm.
